the 78th anthony invitational 
June 20th through 23RD

This is an Invitational, players must be 18 years and older, not enrolled in high school.  All players must have a GHIN or appropriate handicap, unless if you are qualifying for the Championship Flight or playing in the Senior Championship Flight.  

Anthony Country Club Board of Directors have the right to refuse the entry of a player into the field based on past performance or poor conduct.  This includes players that quit during the tournament or did not show up for a scheduled tee time without a legitimate reason,

Senior Championship Flight: (First come - First in!)
  • Players are the age of 50 during or before June 20th, 2024. 
  • 8.0 handicap index max.  ​
  • Open to the first 16 players to sign up and pay
  • Players that meet the age requirement and are qualifying for championship flight may only play in the Senior Flight based on available spaces
  • Seeding determined at Thursday's Pairing Party

​All players not qualifying for the championship flight or playing in the Senior Championship flight will be placed in a flight based on their handicap or GHIN index, no exceptions.
Schedule of events: (Tentative)
  • Wednesday: June 19th
    • All Day:  Practice round- All Paid Players
  • Thursday: June 20th
    • 10:30 am Qualification round-Championship Bracket (Mandatory)
    • Please note:  Ties are broken by a 3 hole aggregate score playoff- so please plan to stay after your round in case there is a playoff- you forfeit your position if you leave
    • All Day: Practice round for all other players
    • 6:00 pm: Steak Dinner and Pairings Party (Add. Plates $50)

  • Friday: June 21st
    • 8:00 am: Senior Championship Bracket and Flight Play
    • Noon - 1:00 pm:  Players Lunch 
    • ​1:30 pm: Championship Bracket and Flight Play
    • 6:00 pm: Barbeque by the River- Family and guests are welcome! $20/plate
    • Music by Midnight Vibe
  • ​Saturday: June 22nd
    • 8:00 am: Championship Bracket/ Flight Play
    • Noon - 1:00 pm:  Players Lunch
    • ​1:30 pm Senior Championship Bracket and Flight Play
  • ​​​Sunday: June 23rd
    • 8:00 am: Championship and Senior Championship Semifinals
    • 8:00 am 3rd - 9th Flights, Ladies:  Finals
    • Noon - 1:00 pm:  Players Lunch 
    • ​1:30 pm  Senior Championship, Championship, Director's Flight Finals
    • After play:  Awards presentation

*Note:  Carts are included for Friday's, Saturday's and Sunday's players only.  Due to limited cart availability, requests for single riders or guests may not be accommodated, however, if carts are available the fee will be $14 per round if riding with a player, $30 if renting a cart.  Outside carts are welcome, ACC assumes no liability for lost or damaged personal property.
