the 79th anthony invitational 
August 14th - 17th

This is an Invitational, players must be 18 years and older, not enrolled in high school.  All players must have a GHIN or appropriate handicap, unless if you are qualifying for the Championship Flight or playing in the Senior Championship Flight.  

Anthony Country Club Board of Directors have the right to refuse the entry of a player into the field based on past performance or poor conduct.  This includes players that quit during the tournament or did not show up for a scheduled tee time without a legitimate reason,

Championship Flights: (First come - First in!)
  • Senior Championship: Players are the age of 50 during or before August 17th, 2024. 
  • ​Open to the first 8 players to sign up and pay
  • All seedings determined at Thursday's Pairing Party

​All players not playing for the Championship flight or playing in the Senior Championship flight will be placed in a flight based on their handicap or GHIN index, no exceptions.
Schedule of events: (Tentative)​
  • Thursday: August 14th
    • All Day: Practice round for all  players (Cart not included)
    • 5:30 pm: BBQ Dinner and Pairings Party
  • Friday: August 15th
    • 8:00 am: Senior Championship Bracket and Flight Play
    • Noon - 1:00 pm:  Players Lunch 
    • ​1:30 pm: Championship Bracket and Flight Play
    • 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm Happy Hour
    • ​Music by Edgar Gonzalez
  • ​Saturday: August 16th
    • 8:00 am: Championship Bracket/ Flight Play
    • Noon - 1:00 pm:  Players Lunch
    • ​1:30 pm Senior Championship Bracket and Flight Play
  • ​​​Sunday: August 17th
    • 8:00 am Flight Finals
    • Noon - 1:00 pm:  Players Lunch 
    • ​After play:  Awards presentation

*Note:  Carts are included for Friday's, Saturday's and Sunday's players only.  Due to limited cart availability, requests for single riders or guests may not be accommodated, however, if carts are available the fee will be $14 per round if riding with a player, $30 if renting a cart.  Outside carts are welcome, ACC assumes no liability for lost or damaged personal property.

We encourage players to bring out their RV's for this year's event.  Parking is available on the old tennis courts.  Don't forget to bring your generator!
